Jack Berry

Owner/Lead Architect

With a solid base of over thirty-five years of training and experience, and a firm belief that an architect is to serve the client (not the architect’s ego); Mr. Berry established the architectural firm, “Jack Berry, Architect” in 1994. Prior to starting his firm, Mr. Berry gained valuable experience working with award winning architectural firms in Boston, MA, Nashua, NH, and Newark, OH.

Since 2001, Mr. Berry has also collaborated with Brown Church Development Group and directed the architectural firms for two design-build companies (Aspen Group and Midwest Church Design) specializing in church design and construction.  Mr. Berry now owns and directs ArchitektOne.

In private practice as well as in other firms, Mr. Berry has designed and managed a wide range of projects including, commercial, financial, industrial, religious, restaurant, retail, residential, and healthcare projects. Because each project has unique requirements, the firm also utilizes talented and highly trained engineers and consultants trained in structural, mechanical and electrical engineering as well as fire protection and other areas. This assures that each discipline is afforded the care it deserves.

Mr. Berry is nationally ceritfied with the National Council or Architectural Accreditation Board (NCARB), along with being a registered architect in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, and Missouri. He also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Code Council (ICC) and the Christian Architectural Assistance Association (CAAA).

In order to emphasize the unique approach utilized in design and project delivery, the name was changed from “Jack Berry, Architect” to “ArchitektOne” in 2012.
